Your privacy is important to 2 Minute Warning LLC (“2 Minute Warning,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and we are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect and use it, and your choices. We communicate our privacy and security guidelines to employees and enforce safeguards. Please read this before using our websites (www.2minutewarning.com or www.2mw.ai), extensions, services, or providing personal information. If you disagree, do not use our services or provide data—though this may limit access.

Further details may be in your contract. For employees/contractors, see the 2 Minute Warning Handbook. We do not collect social security or tax IDs except for employment. Job applicants receive separate notices.

1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal information is data that identifies or relates to you. You may provide it when interacting with us. If you withhold it, we may not provide full services.

We use your information to provide and customize services, send communications, and for marketing purposes (where applicable).

We also use data for auditing, analysis, research, and improving our products, services, and communications. We may combine it with other data but do not restrict use of aggregated or anonymized data no longer tied to individuals.

Opt out of marketing or certain data uses anytime at support@2minutewarning.com.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect information such as: names, emails, passwords, contact details, payment information, team or organization details, and other data you provide during sign-ups, purchases, surveys, downloads, events, or interactions.

From site or service usage: Usage patterns, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information, and logs.

From user uploads: Content you submit, such as videos or related metadata, for processing and analysis.

Other: Technical data like device settings, crash reports, or analytics for improvements and support.

3. User-Submitted Content and Processing

When you upload content (e.g., videos or files) through our services or integrations, we collect and process it to deliver features like analysis and insights. We may use AI and related technologies to process this content, focusing on service delivery without creating personal profiles or identifications.

Any use of your data for training purposes will be in aggregated or de-identified forms where practicable for improvements, though complete de-identification cannot be guaranteed. You can opt out by emailing support@2minutewarning.com. Opting out will exclude your data from such uses but does not affect primary service delivery.

We employ appropriate anonymization and security measures during processing.

4. Data Storage and Security

We store and process data using secure methods, including third-party service providers for hosting, storage, computing, and payments. We require these providers to comply with applicable laws and safeguards.

We implement reasonable safeguards (e.g., encryption, access controls) but cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit data at your own risk. Our services are intended for general audiences.

In the event of a data security incident or breach involving personal information, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.

5. Disclosures to Third Parties

We may share data with affiliates, vendors, service providers, or advisors as needed to operate our business, provide services, or comply with legal requirements.

This includes sharing for: service delivery, enhancements, fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance, mergers or acquisitions (with notice), and business operations.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Children

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the applicable digital consent age in your jurisdiction). If we discover such data, we will delete it. Underage users must have an adult or guardian provide information on their behalf.

For user-submitted content that may involve minors (e.g., in videos), we process it anonymously and without determining ages or identities based on content quality or characteristics. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any necessary consents or permissions from guardians or applicable parties, and we recommend using appropriate tools or documentation to do so.

7. Cookies, Website Analytics and Third-Party Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (including your browser’s local storage) for functionality, analytics, and advertising.

What our websites record. When you visit our websites we record the pages you view and when; how long each page is on your screen and how far you scroll; the links, buttons and questions you click or open; videos you play and how much you watch; forms you start, send or leave (not what you type, except as described below); text you copy; errors and page-loading speed; the site, search, advertisement or email that brought you, including campaign tags; your device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language and time zone; and your approximate location (country, state or region, city, postal code and media market) and the name of the organization that provides your internet connection, all derived from your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself.

Recognizing repeat visits. We keep a random identifier in your browser’s local storage so we can recognize your later visits from the same browser. It contains no personal information on its own.

Linking visits to you. If you give us your email address or other details (for example, to have the install link sent to you, or through our contact form), or you open an install link we emailed to you, we may associate those details with your past and future visits to our websites from that browser, so we can understand your interest and respond to you.

Third-party tools. We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use our websites (including session replays and interaction heatmaps), and Google Analytics, which measures website use; both use cookies and similar technologies. Their use of data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Google’s policy on how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We also use the X (Twitter) advertising pixel to measure the results of our ads. Our website analytics data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

Your choices. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, which stops us from recognizing repeat visits. To ask us to delete the analytics linked to your email address, or for a current list of cookies or third-party vendors, contact us at support@2minutewarning.com.

8. Your Rights

You can access, correct, delete, or restrict your data by emailing support@2minutewarning.com. We will respond within applicable legal timelines.

For US residents: Under laws like CCPA/CPRA and similar state privacy laws (e.g., in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others), you have rights such as knowing what data we collect, opting out of sales or sharing (we do not sell data), limiting use of sensitive data, and non-discrimination for exercising rights. Submit verified requests via email.

For EU/EEA/UK residents: Under GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability. We process data based on contracts, legitimate interests, or consent. You can complain to supervisory authorities.

Opt out of marketing, automated processing, or secondary uses (e.g., potential training) at any time.

9. International Transfers and Retention

Data may be processed or stored in the United States or other locations. For transfers outside your jurisdiction, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

We retain data as necessary for providing services, legal compliance, or business purposes (e.g., while your account is active, plus additional periods for records). We delete data upon request unless required to retain it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes means you accept them. Please check periodically.
