Developing AI for the future of football.

The seeds for the company were planted on the gridiron, during grueling two-a-day practices. I played football into college, but I'm a geek at heart, and my focus shifted from X's and O's to computer science and engineering.

The idea for 2 Minute Warning came to me in graduate school, and I tried to build a prototype. The technology just wasn't mature enough, so I shelved the idea and resolved to revisit it once the technology was ready.

Then major breakthroughs in computer vision meant things were finally where they needed to be. 2 Minute Warning started in 2019 with one focus: using AI to break down film for coaches automatically, saving them dozens of hours in game prep.

I wanted coaches to spend more of their time on game planning, strategy and coaching.
